The Fenix CL20R is a practical, rechargeable, portable lantern that can be used to illuminate a room, tent or desk. Sixteen high-brightness LEDs hidden under the hemispherical diffuser provide up to 300 lumens (ANSI) with neutral white light. The advantage of this light shade is that the color rendering is more natural and has more contrast in nature.

The power supply is provided by a built-in lithium-polymer battery, which can be charged via a micro-USB connector. The lamp offers a total of six lighting modes, including a red light that does not interfere with the adaptation of the eyes to the dark. The lamp is also equipped with a battery life extension function. In case of longer use, the lamp gradually reduces the power in small steps in turbo (300 lumen), high (130 lumen) and medium (40 lumen) modes for longer lighting. Thanks to the IP66 protection, durable and impact-resistant construction, the lamp can be used safely even in bad weather conditions (heavy rain).

At the bottom of the lamp there is a hanging eye and a strong neodymium magnet, so it can be easily hung or attached to any iron. Its compact size and its weight of 91 grams including the battery make the lamp particularly suitable for hiking.

All lantern parameters (luminous flux, battery life, waterproofness, range and shock resistance) are measured in accordance with ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009.

 Using the Fenix CL20R

To turn on or off, hold the side button down for 1 second. The four power levels are switched by pressing the button, the red light is activated by pressing the button twice quickly. To activate the red flash, first turn on the red light, then simply press the button once.

Charging - flip off the rubber cap of the micro USB connector on the side of the lantern and use the included USB cable to plug it into your computer, USB network adapter or USB car adapter. Alternatively, any mobile phone charger with a micro USB connector can be used for charging. The side button lights up red during charging and turns green when fully charged. After charging the flashlight again, seal the charging connector thoroughly with the rubber cap. Charging a fully discharged battery takes approximately 1.6 hours. In an emergency, the lantern can be used while charging, but only the 1 lumen and 40 lumen modes will be available.

Battery charge indication - after a short press of the button (the lantern must be switched off), the LED indicator in the button is activated for 3 seconds. If the indicator LED is green, the battery is more than 85% charged. Green flashing means 50-85% capacity. If the light is red, the battery is charged to 20-50%. Red flashing indicates less than 20% battery capacity remaining.
