The compact Fenix HM23 V2.0 LED headlamp offers a light output of up to 300 lumens (ANSI) and a throw of 88 meters. It uses a single AA battery for power, with which it achieves a battery life of up to 100 hours in lowest mode (more than 4 days). The light source is a high-end white Luminus SST-20 LED and a pair of red LEDs. The all-metal construction ensures high durability, optimal cooling and is also fully waterproof according to the IP68 standard up to a depth of 2 meters underwater. The practicality of the headlamp is enhanced by the ability to remove the light from the head holder and use it as a small pocket flashlight. In addition, the headlamp is equipped with a steel removable buckle, so you can simply clip it to your pocket or strap. The end of the flashlight is magnetic, so it can be easily attached to anything metal. The headlamp offers a total of three power modes in white light mode and electronics with extended duration feature, in 300 and 50 lumen modes gradually reduces power to achieve longer light duration (see. a chart of the endurance in individual modes). The red light can be triggered in steady light mode or flash mode (both 5 lumens).

The very respectable performance, low weight of only 86 grams (including alkaline battery) and reasonable price predispose the HM23 V2.0 to a wide range of sports, leisure, work and everyday activities. It is suitable for evening trail runs, camping, hiking, fishing and hunting. It will also serve you as a standby car torch for unplanned situations and its high durability makes it suitable as a work headlamp for tough conditions.

All flashlight parameters (luminous flux, battery life, waterproofness, range and shock resistance) are measured in accordance with ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009.

Using the headlamp

Screw off the battery cap. Insert the battery with the plus pole towards the headlamp, the minus pole towards the cap.

The switched-off headlamp is switched on to the last used white light mode by holding the button for 0.5 seconds.
The switched-off headlamp is switched on to the last used red light mode by pressing the button twice quickly.
A switched on headlamp is switched off by holding the button for 0.5 seconds.

While the headlamp is switched on, the power modes can be switched in a cycle in the order of 3 - 50 - 300 lumens (when switched to white light) or red 5 lumens - red flash (when switched to red light) with short button presses. The flashlight has a memory and will always turn on in the last set mode (applies to both white and red light).

Drained Battery Warning - If the battery voltage drops below the set level, the headlamp will automatically switch to a lower mode until it reaches the lowest power mode. After reaching the lowest power setting, the headlamp will flash 3 times every 5 minutes to remind you to change the battery.

Lock - When the headlamp is off, press and hold the switch for 3 seconds, the headlamp will flash four times in red mode to indicate the locked state. Unlock by holding the button again for 3 seconds. Unintentional switching on of the headlamp can also be prevented by loosening the battery cap by approximately a quarter turn.

Warning

• Do not disassemble the sealed parts yourself, this will violate the warranty.
• Remove the battery from the flashlight if you will not be using it for an extended period of time or if it is dead. Otherwise, especially with disposable batteries, the headlamp may drain and damage the headlamp.
• If the headlamp blinks, does not switch to higher modes, or does not light up, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
  • The battery is almost dead – replace it.
  • Battery tube cap is loose, tighten it.
  • Electric contacts are dirty – clean them with a cotton ball dipped in alcohol.
