Using the Fenix PD36R PRO
From manufacture, there may be a insulating cap inside the flashlight on the battery. Remove it from the battery pack before first use.
To turn on/off press the larger tactical button located on the end of the flashlight, press the button lightly for immediate activation. Press the adjacent toggle button to switch between power modes at any time during operation. To switch to flash mode with the flashlight on, hold the toggle button for approximately 0.5 seconds. To switch the flashlight directly into strobe mode, press and hold the toggle button.
Intelligent Overheat Protection- Due to the flashlight's huge 2800 lumens output, the flashlight experiences a temperature rise. If the temperature exceeds 60°C, an automatic power reduction occurs. Once the temperature drops below 60°C, the highest power output can be used again.
Battery charge status indication- The flashlight always indicates the battery charge status three seconds after switching on. Green indicates sufficient state of charge (100% - 85%), flashing green (85% - 50%), steady red (50% - 25%) and flashing red indicates critically low battery (25% - 1%). If the battery is low, the flashlight will automatically switch to lower power modes, then flash 3 times every five minutes in the lowest mode.
Charging - flip off the rubber cap of the charging connector on the side of the flashlight and plug in the included cable (USB-C connector), plug the other end of the cable into a computer or USB adapter to the mains or car. The side indicator lights red during charging. When fully charged, it will light up green. Charging a fully discharged battery takes approximately 4 hours. The flashlight cannot be used while charging.
Discharged battery warning - the flashlight automatically switches to the lowest mode over time.
Warning
- Use only high quality rechargeable batteries type 21700 with protective electronics.

- The battery is dead - charge or replace it.
- The contacts inside the flashlight are dirty – clean them with a cotton ball dipped in alcohol.
- Head, body or back of the flashlight is loose, tighten them.
Warranty
