Fenix TK11 TAC is a tactical flashlight with simple operation with quick strobe activation and up to 1600 lumens (ANSI) output. It is equipped with the top-of-the-line LED Luminus SST40, which allows it to illuminate up to 335 meters. The flashlight is equipped with a rotary dial that can be used to lock the control or select one of two modes of use. In tactical mode, the flashlight can be switched to the highest mode or to strobe mode. In service mode, it is possible to choose between four lighting modes. The flashlight can be powered by two disposable CR123A batteries or one high-capacity Li-ion 18650 battery (not included). The rugged and waterproof design makes this tactical flashlight primarily suited for harsh outdoor conditions and for use by security forces, search and rescue, and hunting.
The Fenix TK11 TAC flashlight replaces the older Fenix TK09, Fenix TK15 and Fenix TK15 Ultimate Edition models.
All flashlight parameters (lumen output, battery life, waterproofing, range and shock resistance) are measured in accordance with ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009.

Use
The rotary dial on the end of the flashlight allows you to choose between the light modes, which have different controls.
Tactical mode (rotary control in left position): press the tactical button on the end of the flashlight to turn on, press the button to activate immediately. The flashlight will always activate in the highest mode. To activate the strobe, hold the button down for 0.8 seconds (even from off state). Pressing it will return the flashlight to its original mode. Pressing the button turns the flashlight off.
Service Mode (rotary control in right position): Press the tactical button on the end of the flashlight to turn on, press the button to activate immediately. The flashlight remembers the last selected mode (except strobe). The light modes (except strobe) can be cycled by pressing the button. To activate the strobe, hold the button for 0.8 seconds (even from the off state). Pressing the button returns the flashlight to its original mode. Pressing the button turns the flashlight off.
In the middle position of the rotary control, the lock control button can be activated. If the flashlight is turned off, it cannot be turned on. If it is on, the control will be locked in the currently set light mode and the control button will not respond. To reactivate the tactical button, the control must be turned to tactical or service mode. When using the wired switch, only the highest constant light mode is available.
Intelligent overheat protection: If the temperature of the flashlight exceeds 60°C, then it will reduce power by itself in incremental steps until the temperature drops below a safe limit. After cooling below 60°C, full power can be used again.
Battery Low Warning - the flashlight automatically switches to the lowest power level and flashes 3 times every five minutes.
Warning
- Use only high quality 3V CR123A batteries or protected 3.7V 18650 lithium ion batteries to prevent damage to the flashlight, for example due to leakage of substances from the battery.
- Insert the batteries with the positive pole towards the flashlight head.
- If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after prolonged use, replace them. The rings should also be lubricated to prevent erosion of the rubber. By following these rules, the flashlight will be properly protected against water.
- If the flashlight is flickering, not switching to higher power modes, or not lighting up, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
- The batteries are almost dead – replace them.
- The contacts inside the flashlight are dirty – clean them with a cotton ball dipped in alcohol.
- The back of the flashlight is loose – tighten it.
