The Light My FireSteel BIO scout flint is based on the military version, but has been downsized for outdoor use and the weight has been reduced to just 27 grams. Use this flint to create sparks with a temperature of up to 2980 °C, which can easily ignite a fire. The flint works even when wet and also at all altitudes. An emergency whistle is also integrated in the handle of the flint. The sparks are highly bright and can therefore also be used as a distress signal. The Scout version of the flint can last up to 3000 strikes.
