The Fenix GL23R laser pistol rechargable flashlight is designed specifically for use on short guns. The white light output is 1200 ANSI lumens with a range of up to 240 meters, the flashlight also features a green laser that is suitable for easier target acquisition (the direction of the laser light can be fine-tuned). The flashlight is powered by a single Li-ion battery Fenix ARB-L18-1100, which recharges directly in the flashlight via the USB-C connector on its side and is included. Simplified flashlight control is ambidextrous (for right- and left-handed users). The GL23R comes with three versions of switch levers (universal - factory-fitted, shortened, extended), which can also be combined (use a different switch on each side of the flashlight according to personal preference). The flashlight can operate in three modes - white light only, white light + green laser, or just a separate green laser. Mounting on the weapon rail is easy - the flashlight slides onto the weapon rail and secures with a swivel wheel (can be tightened firmly with, for example, a coin). It can be mounted on Picatinny MIL-STD-1913 and GLOCK standard weapon rails (may not fit on guns from the slimline category, e.g. Glock 30 model). The flashlight is suitable for professionals as well as sport and hobby shooters.
All flashlight parameters (lumen output, battery life, waterproofing and range) are measured in accordance with ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009.

Using the flashlight
From the factory, there may be an insulating cap inside the flashlight on the battery pack. Remove it from the battery before first use.
Turn the bottom switch to select the desired light mode (permanently off, white light, green laser, white light + green laser combination).
To instantly turn on, switch the rear switch to the top position and hold. When released, the switch will return to the center position and the flashlight will turn off.
For constant lighting, switch the rear switch to the lower position. Switch back to the center position to turn the flashlight off.
Charging the flashlight - flip off the rubber cap of the charging connector and use the included USB-C cable to plug it into a computer, USB network adapter or USB car adapter (not included). Alternatively, any mobile phone charger with a USB-C connector can be used for charging. During charging, the indicator LED on the side of the flashlight glows red, after a full charge it glows green. Charging a fully discharged battery takes about 2 hours. The Li-ion battery used does not suffer from memory effect, so the flashlight can be recharged at any time.
Changing the battery - unscrew the head of the flashlight and insert the battery with the plus pole facing out. Then fully tighten the head again.
Laser direction setting - the left-right deviation setting is on the left side of the light. Use the included Allen wrench clockwise or counterclockwise to move the laser dot. The height deviation adjustment is at the bottom of the light, again use the included Allen wrench to move the laser dot. When making large direction corrections, interaction may occur causing the laser to move diagonally or lock up. It may be necessary to turn the opposite adjustment screw counterclockwise to move the laser cartridge to the desired position.
Intelligent overheat protection - if the temperature of the flashlight exceeds 60 °C, an automatic power reduction will occur. As soon as the temperature drops below 55 °C, the power will gradually increase again.
Warning
- Use only high-quality rechargeable batteries to prevent damage to the flashlight, for example due to leakage of substances from the battery.
- When using the flashlight on a weapon, observe all safety guidelines.
- Insert batteries with the positive pole facing the flashlight head.
- If the flashlight flickers, glows at low power, or fails to light, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
- The battery is dead – replace it or charge it.
- The contacts inside the flashlight are dirty – clean them with a cotton ball dipped in alcohol.
Warranty
Five years warranty on the flashlight. Two years on the battery.
