The ultra-lightweight and powerful Fenix HL12R V2.0 rechargeable headlamp delights with a light output of up to 500 lumens and a range of 125 meters. Despite its weight of just under 73 grams, it hides an integrated 950 mAh battery with convenient USB-C charging directly in the body of the flashlight. The light source is a modern Luminus SST-20 LED with a cooler shade of light (daylight white) and one red LED.

There are a total of 6 power modes, including red flashing and steady red light. The headlamp retains waterproof to IP66 standard, so it can withstand heavy rain without problems. Using the headlamp

On/Off and mode switching - the white reflector is turned on by holding the right button (approx. 0.5s), red light reflector is turned on by holding the left button (0.5s). You can easily switch between white and red light by pressing the button of the opposite reflector than the one that is on. The light modes are switched by briefly pressing the illuminated reflector button. The light is switched off again by holding the corresponding button for 0.5 s.

Lock/Unlock- to avoid spontaneous switching on e.g. when transporting in luggage - in the off state press both buttons and hold for min. 3 seconds, then the headlamp will flash to indicate locking. To unlock, hold both buttons again for three seconds.

Memory for last set power mode - the headlamp has a memory and will turn on in the last set power mode of the respective reflector.

Charging- flip off the rubber cap on the back of the headlamp and plug the USB-C charging cable into the headlamp's charging port. Replace the dust cap when charging is complete. Normal charging time is approximately 2.5 hours with a 5V/1A USB power supply for a fully discharged headlamp. During charging, the headlamp can only be used in low mode of any beam. Four indicators light up and flash gradually during the charging process. Four permanently on indicates that charging is complete.

Battery Charge Status Indication - When any button is pressed briefly (headlamp must be off), the LED battery charge status indicator between the buttons is activated. Four lit LEDs indicate the battery is 80-100% charged, three lit 60-80%, two lit 40-60%, one lit 20-40% and one flashing LED indicates the battery is less than 20% charged.

Intelligent Overheat Protection - When using the headlamp on high power modes for long periods of time, a large amount of heat will accumulate. When the headlamp reaches a temperature of 55°C or higher, it will automatically reduce the power by several lumens to lower the temperature. When the temperature drops below 55 °C, the power will gradually increase again.

Drained Battery Warning - If the battery voltage drops below the set level, the headlamp will automatically switch to a lower mode until it reaches the lowest power mode. After reaching the lowest power setting, the headlamp will flash 3 times every five minutes to remind you to recharge the battery in a timely manner.

• If the headlamp blinks, does not switch to higher power modes or does not light up, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
  • The battery is low, charge it.
  • The headlamp is locked, unlock it.
