Fenix HM62-T is a high-performance running headlamp that offers a light output of up to 1200 lumens of neutral white light with a range of 150 meters. The advantage of this shade of light is a more natural and contrasting color rendition in the field. The headlamp also features a red light with a power of 5 lumens. Also included is a rechargeable 18650 Li-ion battery with a 3400 mAh capacity, which is charged via the USB-C connector on its body. The headlamp is particularly suitable for night running, cross-country skiing, hiking, fishing or caving. The all-metal construction made of lightweight magnesium alloy ensures high durability, optimal cooling and is also fully waterproof according to IP68 standard up to a depth of 2 meters underwater, all while keeping its weight low.
Like other Fenix trail headlamps, the HM62-T is equipped with a Sport Fit System strap with one wheel for easy length adjustment. On your head, you can quickly and comfortably tighten the headlamp with one hand. The strap is perforated for fast sweat wicking and has reflective elements to ensure good passive visibility and also has an integrated whistle for emergency situations.
All flashlight parameters (lumen output, battery life, waterproof, range and shock resistance) are measured in accordance with ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009.

Using the HM62-T headlamp
From the factory, there may be an insulating cap inside the flashlight on the battery. Remove it from the battery before first use.
- With the headlamp off, the headlamp will turn on to low white light mode by holding the button for 0.5 seconds.
- With the headlamp off, the headlamp will turn on to red light by pressing the button twice quickly.
- With the headlamp on, turn off by holding the button for 0.5 seconds.
While the headlamp is on, the power modes can be cycled switched in the order of 5 - 130 - 400 - 1200 lumens (when the white light is on) with short button presses. When the red light is on, the power modes can be cycled switched in the sequence 5 lumens steady light - 5 lumens SOS with short button presses.
Battery charge indication - after a short press of the button (the headlamp must be switched off), the LED battery charge indicator in the button is activated. A green light indicates the battery is 85-100% charged, flashing green light 50-85%, flashing red light 25-50%, flashing red light less than 25%.
Lock the headlamp against unwanted switching on - loosen the battery cap of the headlamp a quarter turn, it will break the electrical contact and the headlamp cannot be switched on. The button can also be locked electronically – with the headlamp off, hold the button down for 3 seconds. After locking, the flashlight flashes in low white mode. To unlock, hold the button again for 3 seconds.
Discharged battery warning - If the battery voltage drops below the set level, the headlamp will automatically switch to lower power modes. If the headlamp is already switched to the lowest power mode and the battery is critically low, the indicator in the button will flash red. However, the headlamp will continue to illuminate until the battery is completely depleted. Note: the low battery warning is calibrated to the voltage of rechargeable Li-ion batteries only.
Charging
Remove the battery pack from the headlamp. Plug the USB cable into the side USB-C connector, the indicator light on the top of the battery will be red while charging. When the battery reaches full charge, the light turns blue. When using a USB power supply with a current of 1500 mA or higher, the charging time is about 2.5-3 hours. The Li-ion battery used does not suffer from memory effect, so it can be recharged at any time. After charging, fully tighten the battery cap of the headlamp.
Warning
- Do not disassemble the sealed parts yourself, it will violate the warranty.
- If using disposable CR123A batteries, do not attempt to charge them in the headlamp.
- Remove the batteries from the flashlight if you will not be using it for an extended period of time or if the batteries are already dead. Otherwise, some lower quality batteries may damage the headlamp.
- If the headlamp blinks, does not switch to higher power modes, or does not light up, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
- The battery is almost dead – charge it or replace it.
- The headlamp cap is loose – tighten it.
- The electrical contacts are dirty – clean them with a cotton ball dipped in alcohol.
Warranty
Five years warranty on the headlamp, two years on the battery.
