The Fenix LD30R tactical flashlight offers a light flux of up to 1700 lumens (ANSI) and a glow of up to 267 meters. It is among the most powerful Fenix flashlights with one 18650 Li-ion battery, which is recharged via the USB-C port directly on the body of the flashlight without the need to remove it. In an emergency, however, the flashlight can also be powered by two disposable CR123A batteries. The LD30R flashlight has seven different lighting modes, which allow you to choose between high power and long duration (up to 31 days of lighting at a time), there are also stroboscopic flashes and an SOS mode for emergencies situation. The flashlight is equipped with a battery charge status indicator in the side button. Thanks to the tactical end switch, it is suitable not only for professionals, but also for a wide range of outdoor, sports and work activities.
All parameters of the flashlight (luminous flux, battery operation time, waterproofing, throw and impact resistance) are measured in compliance with the ANSI/ NEMA FL 1-2009.

Using the flashlight
There may be an insulating cap inside the lamp on the battery from the factory. Remove it from the battery before first use.
Press the end button to turn it on or off, press the button to turn it on immediately. You can switch power levels at any time during operation by pressing the side button. To switch to flash mode, hold down the side button for about 0.5 seconds. This activates the strobe. With another short press, you can switch between strobe flashing and SOS. By holding down the button, the flashlight will return to the original permanent lighting mode.
Battery charge status indication (functional only when using Li-ion 18650) - every time the flashlight is switched on, the indicator LED in the side button of the flashlight is activated. If the indicator diode lights up green, the battery is charged to more than 85%. Green flashing means 50-85% capacity. If it glows red, it is 25-50% charged. Red flashing means less than 25% battery capacity is left.
Charging - unfold the rubber cover of the charging connector on the side of the flashlight and plug in the attached cable (USB-C connector), plug the other end of the cable into the computer or the USB adapter into the electrical network or the car. During charging, the indicator in the button lights up red. It lights up green when fully charged. Charging a fully discharged battery takes about 3 hours. During charging, the flashlight can be used in modech 1 and 50 lumens.
Warning about low batteries (only functional when using Li-ion 18650) - the flashlight will gradually automatically switch to the lowest mode and the indicator LED in the button will start flashing red.
Protection against overheating - due to the dimensions of the lamp and the high power in the mode of 1700 lumens, the operation of the turbo mode is limited in time. If the lamp's internal temperature rises above a critical level, it will automatically reduce power in gradual steps until its temperature stabilizes.
Warning
- Do not disassemble the sealed parts in the lamp head yourself, this will void the warranty.
- Use only quality 3V CR123A batteries and 18650 Li-ion batteries.
- If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after prolonged use, replace them. The rings must also be lubricated to prevent rubber erosion. By following these rules, the lamp will be properly protected against water.
- If the flashlight flickers, does not switch to higher modes, or does not light up, it may be for one of the following reasons:
- The battery is almost empty – charge it or replace it.
- The contacts inside the lamp are dirty – clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.
- The lamp head is loose, tighten it.
Warranty
Five-year warranty for the flashlight, two years for the battery.
