The powerful Fenix TK25 UV tactical flashlight offers a peak lumen output of up to 1000 ANSI lumens of white light plus two UV LEDs with up to 3000 mW and a 365 nm wavelength. The ultraviolet light enables, for example, a quick authenticity check of documents, banknotes and credit cards. It is also used for checking the purity or quality of materials, curing UV adhesives or for forensic analysis. The flashlight can be powered by two disposable CR123A batteries or one high-capacity Li-ion 18650 battery (not included). The very solid and waterproof design and double-layer body construction predestines this tactical flashlight for harsh working conditions. The Fenix TK25 UV flashlight uses a dual tactical switch that allows for faster and more reliable control in crisis situations. For example, it can be easily switched directly into strobe mode. The flashlight is powered by a digitally controlled constant current to guarantee a constant light output even when the voltage in the batteries is reduced (when they are slowly discharging). The Fenix TK25 UV has a total of five white light modes with up to 110 hours of operation and one ultraviolet light mode. Switching between white and ultraviolet light mode is very easy, just turn the head of the flashlight 90°. However, due to the magnetic sensors in the flashlight head, it cannot be used with a magnetic mount on the gun, which interferes with its proper function.

All flashlight parameters (luminous flux, battery life, waterproofness, range and shock resistance) are measured in accordance with ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009.

Using the Fenix TK25 UV flashlight

To turn on, press the larger button located on the tail of the flashlight, press the button to activate immediately. Press the adjacent toggle button to switch between power modes at any time during operation. To switch to flash mode with the flashlight on, hold the toggle button for approximately 1 second. To turn the flashlight directly into strobe mode, press and hold the toggle button. Switch between white and UV modes by turning the flashlight head 90°.

Caution: Do not shine the UV light into the eyes, there is a risk of eye damage!

Intelligent Overheat Protection - If the temperature of the flashlight rises above 65°C, it will automatically start to reduce power in gradual steps of 5% every 30 seconds until its temperature stabilizes. Once the lamp temperature drops below 65°C, the power will automatically increase to the original level again. Operation at the highest power mode is thus not limited by time, but only by temperature.

Low battery warning - the flashlight automatically switches to the lowest mode and flashes 3 times every five minutes.

Warning

• Use only high quality 3V CR123A batteries and 18650 Li-ion batteries to prevent damage to the flashlight, for example due to leakage of substances from the battery.
• Insert the batteries with the positive pole towards the flashlight head.
• If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after prolonged use, replace them. The rings should also be lubricated to prevent erosion of the rubber. By following these rules, the flashlight will be properly protected against water.
• If the flashlight is flickering, not switching to higher power modes, or not lighting up, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
  • The batteries are almost dead – replace them.
  • The contacts inside the flashlight are dirty – clean them with a cotton ball dipped in alcohol.
  • Head, body or back of the flashlight is loose, tighten them.
