SkyRC MC3000 is the most advanced four-channel charger and diagnostic station on the market. It is designed for Li-ion, NiMH, NiCd, LiFePO4, Li-ion 4.35V, NiZN, RAM and LTO batteries. The charging current can be set in all four positions in the 0.05-3.00 A range and the discharge current in the 0.05-2.00 A range. The large charging slots can accommodate cylindrical batteries with a length of 29-72 millimeters and a diameter of up to 32 millimeters. Batteries D or with a diameter of 32 millimeters fit in the charger in 2 pieces, batteries with a diameter of less than 26 millimeters fit in four pieces. We recommend this charger for users who have a deeper knowledge of batteries to take advantage of the advanced features of this charger.
We stock the latest hardware revision with two fans on the bottom and plus poles with three pins.
Each charging slot is monitored independently so you can charge batteries of different sizes, capacities and even different chemistries at the same time. The display can show detailed parameters of the current program (charge/discharge current, charged/discharged capacity, battery voltage, graphical display of the charge/discharge curve, etc.).
User interface can be selected between three menu modes: Dummy (Basic) for NiMH and Li-ion batteries only, Simple for charging all types of batteries with minimum setpoints and Advanced for all types of batteries with Extensive parameter setting options (end voltages for discharge/charge, end current, process termination when reaching set temperature, capacity, time, delta-peak detection sensitivity, etc. ).
In the Advanced Menu you can set every parameter of a given operating mode, while for everyday use a simpler menu requiring setting a small number of parameters may be more convenient. Numbered user programs are a key part of the user interface; the MC3000 has 30 editable programs. Whenever you use one of the four channels, you are using one of the 30 programs. Programs are global in scope - you can assign any program stored in memory to any channel on the charger.
The charger is equipped with a micro-USB interface allowing firmware updates and connection to the software on your computer (requires Windows 7 or later), which can be used to set individual charger parameters and record data. The program offers clear parameter setting and with a click of the mouse you can simultaneously monitor the most important values of the variables of all four channels with real-time graphs and e.g. monitor all discharged and charged capacities of a complex program with many cycles. For more detailed analysis or post-processing, you can export the measured data in *.CSV spreadsheet format to programs such as MS Excel, etc. In addition, you can also measure the internal resistance of the batteries.
MC3000 is also equipped with Bluetooth 4.0 interface allowing you to monitor the charging/discharging progress and control the charger with your smartphone or other mobile device running iOS or Android.
For very advanced amateur or professional users, user calibration of voltages and currents is also available.
