The Fenix GL22 laser pistol LED flashlight is designed specifically for use on short guns. The white light output is 750 ANSI lumens with a range of up to 180 meters, the flashlight also features a red laser that is suitable for easier target acquisition (the direction of the laser light can be fine-tuned). The flashlight is powered by one Li-ion battery Fenix ARB-L16-700UP with integrated micro USB connector(battery and cable included). If needed, a disposable lithium battery CR123A can also be used. Simplified flashlight control is ambidextrous (for right and left handed users). The flashlight can operate in four modes - white light only, white light + red laser, or red laser alone. The white light can also be switched to strobe flashing at the moment. Mounting on the weapon rail is easy - the flashlight slides onto the weapon rail and secures with a swivel wheel (can be tightened firmly with, for example, a coin). It can be mounted on Picatinny MIL-STD-1913 and GLOCK standard weapon rails (may not fit slimline weapons, e.g. Glock 30 model). The flashlight is suitable for professionals as well as sport and hobby shooters.

All flashlight parameters (lumen output, battery life, waterproofing and range) are measured in accordance with ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009.

Fenix GL22 pistol flashlight specifications

Using the Fenix GL22 flashlight

From manufacture, there may be an insulating cap on the battery inside the flashlight. Remove it from the battery before first use.

One press of any of the switches will turn on the flashlight to the last selected light mode. Another press will turn it off again.

To instantly turn on, press and hold any switch. The flashlight will remain lit while held and will turn off again when the switch is released.

Momentary strobe activation: With the flashlight on, press and hold any of the switches. After 0.5 seconds, the strobe will be activated and will illuminate for as long as the switch is held.

Switching between light modes: Turn on the flashlight, then press and hold one of the switches, pressing the other switch then switches between three modes - white light only - white light and red laser - red laser only.

Lock the flashlight: When the light is off, press and hold both switches for 5 seconds. The light will then flash twice to indicate the locked status of the flashlight. To unlock, press both switches again simultaneously and hold them down for 1 second. This will reactivate the flashlight.

Charging: The battery can be charged using the micro-USB connector. During charging, the indicator light on the top of the battery glows red. When the battery reaches full charge, it glows blue or green.

Intelligent overheat protection - due to the high power in 750 lumen mode, the flashlight does not overheat. If the internal temperature of the flashlight rises to 60°C, it will automatically start to reduce power. As soon as the temperature of the flashlight drops below 60°C, the power will gradually increase again.

 Warning

• Use only good quality rechargeable batteries to prevent damage to the flashlight, for example due to leakage of substances from the battery.
• When using a flashlight on a gun, follow all safety guidelines.
• Insert batteries with the negative pole facing the flashlight head.
• If the flashlight is flickering, glowing at low power, or does not light up, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
  • The battery is dead – replace it or charge it.
  • The contacts inside the flashlight are dirty – clean them with a cotton ball dipped in alcohol.
