The new ultra-powerful Fenix LR80R rechargeable flashlight delivers extreme light output up to 18,000 lumens (ANSI) and a range of up to 1130 meters. It achieves its performance with six high-end Luminus SST-70 LEDs with 50,000 hours of light life, which are powered by a internal high-current Li-ion battery with 86.4 Wh capacity. The battery is recharged directly in the flashlight via a modern USB-C connector with support for fast charging protocols. S The included 45W USB power supply charges in as little as four hours. The flashlight offers dual-button control, which can be used to separately control high and low light modes, including two hidden flash modes SOS and strobe.
Because of the huge light output, the flashlight is equipped with a proximity sensor in the reflector that automatically reduces the output to 50 lumens when the flashlight gets closer to an object than about 6-8 centimeters (prevents damage to the object from strong light and glare from reflected light).
The flashlight is equipped with five indicator LEDs that show the battery charge status. In addition, the flashlight can also be used as an emergency power bank and charge other USB devices from it. The flashlight has a detachable handle in the basic package, on which a hanging eye and a tripod thread can be attached. The flashlight can thus be carried in the hand, or with the help of a strap conveniently over the shoulder or mounted on a tripod and used as a stationary light. This searchlight is particularly suitable for rescue and reconnaissance operations. It is also well suited for surveillance of large objects or for all flashlight enthusiasts. It will delight both professionals and the most demanding users.
All flashlight parameters (luminous flux, battery life, waterproofness, range and shock resistance) are measured in accordance with ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009.

Using the Fenix LR80R
From manufacture, there may be an insulating cap on the battery. Remove it before first use.
The flashlight control works in the form of two power groups. The right button controls the high power modes and the left button controls the low power modes and hidden flash modes.
Holding the left or right button for 0.5 seconds will turn the flashlight on to the last set power mode within the selected mode group (left button = low modes, right button = high modes). Pressing the left button then cycles through the 50 - 150 - 450 - 1000 lumen modes and pressing the right button cycles through the 3000 - 6000 - 12000 and 18000 lumen modes.
Holding the right button for 1.2 seconds will always activate the highest mode of 18000 lumens (even from off state). Holding the left button for 1.2 seconds will turn the flashlight into strobe mode, then pressing the button again will switch to SOS. The torch is switched off by holding down any button for 0.5 seconds as when switched on.
The control buttons can be locked to prevent spontaneous switching on, e.g. when transporting in luggage - in the off state, press both buttons and hold them for at least 3 seconds, then the flashlight will flash to indicate locking. To unlock, both buttons must be held down again for three seconds. Unintentional switching on can also be prevented by loosening the flashlight body, thus breaking the electrical contact between the flashlight head and the battery.
Charging - flip off the rubber cap of the charging connector and plug the cable into the USB-C connector in the flashlight, plug the other end into the USB-C connector on the included charging adapter. The indicator LEDs on the flashlight flash from left to right during charging to indicate charging status. When charging is complete, all five indicator LEDs remain permanently lit. When charging is complete, seal the connector thoroughly with the rubber cap. During charging, the flashlight can only be used in the lowest mode with a 50 lumen output.
Charging external USB-C devices (powerbank function) - flip off the rubber cap of the USB connector and connect the device you want to charge with a suitable USB cable (only USB-C devices can be charged with the supplied cable). To activate the powerbank function, briefly press one of the control buttons. Once charging has started, the indicator LEDs will start flashing from right to left to show the battery status. When charging is complete, be sure to properly seal the USB-C connector with the rubber cap. While using the power bank function, the flashlight can be lit in all modes.
Battery charge status indication - after briefly pressing any button, the indicator LED will light up for 3 seconds to show the battery charge status (flashlight must be off). Five lit LEDs indicate the battery is 80-100% charged, four lit 60-80%, three lit 40-60%, two lit 20-40% and one lit LED indicates the battery is less than 20% charged.
Intelligent overheat protection - after the temperature exceeds 60 °C, the flashlight will automatically gradually reduce power in small increments to avoid overheating. Once cooled, it can be switched back to the highest power modes.
The proximity sensor in the reflector automatically reduces the output to 50 lumens when the flashlight gets closer than about 6-8 centimeters to an object (prevents damage to the object from strong light and glare from reflected light).
Warning
- Do not disassemble the sealed parts of the flashlight yourself, it will violate the warranty.
- The battery has no memory effect, it can be recharged at any time even after each short use.
- If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after prolonged use, replace them. The rings should also be lubricated to prevent erosion of the rubber. By following these rules, the flashlight will be properly protected against water.
- If the flashlight is flickering, not switching to higher power modes, or not lighting up, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
- The battery is dead, charge it.
- The flashlight body is loose, tighten it.
Warranty
Five years warranty on the flashlight, two years warranty on the battery and charger.
