The ultra-powerful Fenix LR40R V2.0 rechargeable flashlight delivers extreme light output of up to 15,000 lumens (ANSI) and a range of up to 900 meters. It achieves its performance with one premium Luminus SFT-70 LED and sixteen Lumileds HL2X LEDs, which are powered by an internal high-current Li-ion battery with 54 Wh (5000 mAh /10.8 V). The battery is recharged directly in the flashlight via a modern USB-C connector. The flashlight is controlled by a rotary dial that can be used to select between wide cone (up to 12000 lm) and high beam (up to 3000 lm), or a combination of the two (15000 lm combined). In addition, a strobe and SOS are available for emergency situations.
The flashlight is equipped with five indicating LEDs that show the battery charge status. In addition, the flashlight can also be used as a power bank in an emergency and charge other USB devices from it. Despite its enormous power, the flashlight retains surprisingly compact dimensions, with a length of just 17.5 centimeters and a weight of 843 grams including the battery. This searchlight is suitable, for example, for security of large premises, service use or reconnaissance and rescue operations and for all flashlight enthusiasts.
All flashlight parameters (luminous flux, battery life, waterproofness, range and shock resistance) are measured in accordance with ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009.

Using the Fenix LR40R V2.0
The flashlight has a rotary dial that has four positions: off - on remote cone - on wide cone - on combination cone. If the rotary dial is in the locked position, turning it to the appropriate mode will turn the flashlight on directly - the main beam on the lowest mode, the wide beam and the combination of the two in the last mode used. Short presses of the centre button cycles through the power modes of the respective reflectors. The strobe is switched on by holding the centre button for at least 1.2 seconds, another short press to switch to SOS and another press to return to the last selected steady light mode. If the rotary selector is not in the lock position, the flashlight is switched off and on by holding the center button for about 0.5 seconds.
The control buttons can be locked by switching the rotary selector to the lock position, to prevent them from switching on spontaneously, e.g. when transporting in luggage.
The proximity sensor in the spotlight automatically reduces the output to 50 lumens when the flashlight gets closer to an object than about 6-8 centimeters (prevents damage to the object from strong light and glare from reflected light). This function can be turned on/off by holding the center button for at least 10 seconds with the flashlight unlocked.
Charging - flip off the rubber cap of the charging connector and plug the cable into the USB-C connector in the flashlight. The indicator LEDs will flash from left to right to show the charging status. Once they all stay lit, the flashlight is fully charged. During charging, only the wide cone can be turned on in the lowest 100 lumen mode. When charging is complete, seal the connector thoroughly with the rubber cap. Not only common USB adapters and power banks can be used for charging, but also fast charging adapters with QC2.0 and PD2.0 protocol will be automatically detected. Charging time is around 4 hours, depending on the strength of the power supply used.
Charge external USB devices (powerbank function) - flip off the rubber cap of the USB connector and connect the device you want to charge to the USB-A connector of the flashlight with a suitable USB cable. To activate the powerbank function, the centre button must be pressed briefly. Once charging has started, the indicator LEDs will start flashing from right to left to show the battery status. You can use all flashlight modes while charging. When charging is complete, be sure to properly seal the USB connector with the rubber cap.
Battery charge status indication - After briefly pressing the center button, the indicator LED will light up for 3 seconds to show the battery charge status. Five lit LEDs indicate the battery is over 80% charged, four lit 60-80%, three lit 40-60%, two lit 20-40% and one LED indicates the battery is less than 20% charged.
Intelligent overheat protection - when the temperature exceeds 60 °C, the flashlight will automatically gradually reduce the power in small steps, after cooling down you can increase the power again.
Warning
- Do not disassemble the sealed parts of the flashlight yourself, it will violate the warranty.
