This is a flashlight with laser source in category 3B and therefore it can be purchased only with valid company ID!
Rechargeable laser flashlight Fenix LR36R delivers extreme lumen output of up to 10,000 lumens (ANSI) and a range of up to 1260 meters. The white laser light spotlight reflector produces an extremely focused beam with long throw. The light source is a white laser with LEP (laser excited phosphor) technology, which is known for its use especially in the automotive industry in the most luxurious cars. The floodlight reflector with scattered light consists of twelve SST-25 LEDs. The reflectors can be triggered simultaneously. The flashlight is powered by two Li-ion batteries type 21700 (included), which can be charged directly in the flashlight via a modern USB-C connector. The light intensity can be changed continuously simply with one hand via the rotary control around the switch, which can also be used to lock the flashlight. Information about the charging progress, battery status and current power are clearly displayed on the OLED display. Thanks to the side-by-side arrangement of the batteries, the flashlight is surprisingly short and fits perfectly in the hand. The flashlight is particularly suitable for moving in difficult terrain, search operations, surveillance, object protection and anywhere you need to strongly illuminate large areas. Due to the fact that this is a laser source flashlight classified as category 3B, it can only be purchased with a company ID.
All flashlight specifications (lumen output, battery life, waterproofness, throw and shock resistance) are measured in accordance with ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009.

Using the Fenix LR36R
Turning on/off - When the light is locked, turn the switch clockwise to turn the light on. When the light is on, flip the switch to lock mode, with which you turn the light off and lock it. When the light is unlocked, press and hold the electronic switch for 0.5 seconds to turn the light on/off.
Mode Switching - With the flashlight on, the electronic switch can be pressed to switch between wide reflector, laser, and combination wide reflector and laser modes. With the flashlight unlocked, press and hold the electronic switch for 1.2 s to switch to flashing modes. Single presses of the switch can then be used to switch between strobe and SOS. Holding the electronic switch again will switch back to the last steady light mode.
Smooth power control - In steady light modes, the power can be continuously controlled with the rotary switch. Clockwise rotation increases the power, counterclockwise rotation decreases the power.
Lock/Unlock - An unlocked flashlight is turned off and locked by turning the rotary switch counterclockwise until the end position. The flashlight is unlocked by turning the switch clockwise. *In the locked state, the flashlight cannot be turned on, only the charge status can be displayed on the display by pressing the switch.
Memory for last used mode - When unlocked by flipping the switch, the wide reflector will always turn on in low power. If the flashlight is unlocked and switched on by holding the electronic switch, it will light up again in the last used power setting.
Changing the batteries - Unscrew the flashlight body and insert both batteries with the plus pole facing the head. Then fully tighten the body again.
Charging - Turn off the flashlight, flip off the dust cap, and plug the USB-C charging cable into the flashlight's charging port. When charging is complete, reseal the dust cap. During charging, the OLED display shows the charging icon and the charge level indicator. The normal charging time for the included ARB-L21-5000 V2.0 batteries is 3.5-4 hours. During charging, the flashlight can be used in the lowest mode. Charging the flashlight without batteries inside is prohibited.
Intelligent proximity sensor - The flashlight has a built-in safety circuit. When it is set to a higher mode than 540 lumens (or 270 lumens when powered by one battery) and the spotlight gets closer than 6 cm to the object to be illuminated, it will automatically reduce the power to low mode to prevent damage to the object from strong light and glare from reflected light.
- Turn off/on proximity sensor - To turn off the function, lock the flashlight and hold the electronic switch for 6 seconds. Turning the function off is indicated by the flashlight reading OFF on the display and eight flashes of the floodlight reflector. The function is switched on again by holding the switch for 6 seconds with the lamp locked. Switching on the function is indicated by the lamp reading ON on the display and two flashes of the floodlight reflector.
OLED display - Each time the flashlight is turned on, the OLED display lights up and displays the Fenix icon for 1 second. After that permanently displays the current power level, remaining run time and remaining battery level. When the light is off, one click on the electronic switch, displays the battery level for 3 seconds.
Note:
- After changing the current mode, it takes approximately 1 second for the flashlight to recalculate the remaining run time. During this time, the OLED display will show "CHECK".
- If the battery level is 5% or less, the display will show a blank battery icon. Only the low mode of the floodlight reflector can be used in this state.
- After changing the battery, it takes 5 to 8 seconds to reload the remaining run time, the display shows "LOADING" and the flashlight cannot be used during the loading process.
Intelligent overheat protection - When using the flashlight on high power modes for a long time, a large amount of heat accumulates. When the flashlight reaches a temperature of 55°C or higher, it will automatically reduce the power by several lumens to lower the temperature. When the temperature drops below 55 °C, the output will gradually increase again.
Low Battery Warning - If the battery voltage drops below the set level, the flashlight will automatically switch to a lower mode until it reaches the lowest power mode of the floodlight reflector. When the lowest power setting is reached, a low battery icon will appear on the OLED display. In this case, recharge the flashlight as soon as possible or replace the battery with a charged one.
Warning
- Place this flashlight out of reach of children!
- Do not point the flashlight directly at anyone's eyes or skin!
- Laser classification: class 3B. Beware of reflected beams from glass and shiny surfaces!
- Don't point at flammable objects in the immediate vicinity to avoid damage or danger due to high temperature!
- DO NOT use the flashlight in an inappropriate manner, e.g. by holding in the mouth, to avoid personal injury or life threatening failure of the flashlight or battery!
- This flashlight accumulates a large amount of heat during high mode operation, resulting in high surface temperature. Take care to use it safely to avoid burning yourself.
- Turn off and lock the flashlight to prevent accidental activation when the flashlight is placed in enclosed and flammable environments such as pockets and backpacks!
- Do not disassemble the sealed parts of the flashlight yourself, this will void the warranty.
- Never use differently discharged batteries or batteries with different capacities.
- Use only high-current Li-ion batteries type 21700 with protective electronics, otherwise the flashlight may not work properly.
- If the protective o-rings appear damaged after prolonged use, replace them. The rings should also be lubricated to prevent erosion of the rubber. By following these rules, the flashlight will be properly protected against water.
- If the flashlight flickers, does not switch to higher power modes, or does not light up, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
- The batteries are almost dead – replace them or charge them.
- The contacts inside the flashlight are dirty – clean them with a cotton ball dipped in alcohol.
- The flashlight body is loose – add lubricant to the sealing rings and tighten.
Warranty
Five years warranty on the flashlight and two years on the batteries.
