The powerful Fenix BC25R rechargeable cycling flashlight delivers up to 600 lumens (ANSI) with a range of up to 106 meters. The light is powered by a built-in 2600 mAh Li-ion battery that charges via a micro-USB connector directly in the flashlight. The light source is a modern Cree XP-G3 diode with a warmer shade of light (neutral white). The advantage of this light shade is a more natural and contrasting colour rendering in terrain. The flashlight uses a specially shaped reflector that directs light only forward and to the sides, not upwards. The light cone is therefore sharply cut off from above and does not dazzle other drivers and pedestrians. The Fenix BC25R bike light is therefore particularly suitable for use on roads and cycle paths.
The bracket design allows for quick mounting and removal of the light on the handlebars without tools, and the bracket also allows for quick removal of the light so it can be used as a high-powered handheld light. The holder can be used on all common handlebars with a diameter from 20 to 32 millimetres.
The Fenix BC25R is also equipped with a extended battery life feature. When used for extended periods in all modes, it gradually reduces power in small steps in each mode to achieve a longer lighting time - up to 36 hours in the lowest mode (see durability graph). Fenix cycling lights provide quality lighting for night training, regular commuting and endurance races.
All flashlight parameters (lumen output, battery life, waterproofing and range) are measured in accordance with ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009.

Using the Fenix BC25R bikelight
To turn on or off, hold the button on the flashlight for about 0.5 seconds. The power modes can be switched at any time during operation with a short press of the button (cycling through in the order of low - medium - high - turbo). Flashing mode can be activated with two quick presses of the button. Another press returns the flashlight to the previous mode.
Battery capacity indication - with the light switched off, press the button once shortly, then the indicator LEDs will light up for five seconds to indicate the battery charge status: one LED: 0 - 25% capacity. Two LEDs: 26 -50% capacity. Three LEDs: 51 - 85% capacity. Four LEDs: 86 - 100% capacity.
Discharged battery warning - if the battery capacity drops below approximately 20%, the flashlight will automatically switch to lower power modes to ensure the longest possible battery life (the flashlight cannot be switched to higher modes afterwards). If the battery is critically low, the last indicator LED will flash. In this case, we recommend charging the flashlight as soon as possible to prevent the protective electronics built into the battery from turning off and thus turning off the light.
Charging
- Unplug the rubber cap of the micro USB connector on the bottom of the flashlight and use the included USB cable to plug it into a computer, USB network adapter or USB car adapter. Alternatively, any mobile phone charger with a micro USB connector can be used for charging.
- During charging, the indicator LEDs flash to show the charging progress, after a full charge all indicator LEDs are lit.
- Charging time is about 2.5 hours. The Li-ion battery used does not suffer from memory effect, so the flashlight can be recharged at any time.
- During charging, the flashlight can be used in emergency, only the low 50 lumen mode is available. However, the charging time will be extended.
- After charging and removing the power cord, be sure to seal the micro USB connector cap.
Warning
- Do not disassemble the sealed parts in the head of the flashlight yourself, it will violate the warranty.
- If the bikelight flashes or does not light up, then it means the battery is dead. Charge it.
