How to choose a fishing headlamp
8.8. 2023
A quality and powerful headlamp is an integral part of fishing equipment. Without it you simply can't do it! Don't know which headlamp to choose for fishing? Take a look at the following article.
Has it happened to you that your headlamp barely glows when fishing, you can't see properly where you are casting and even working and casting under such light is no fun? That's why it's advisable to aim for a headlamp that has enough power not to limit you when working with the rod, but also a light suitable for shining under your hands at close range when working.
One such headlamp is the Fenix HM71R. This is a very powerful flashlight with a superbly tuned spotlight reflector with a neutral white light that will reach a long distance and see exactly what you need on the water. Another benefit is a floodlight reflector with a very soft light, plus a high color rendering index (CRI). Any work under this "wide-beam" is a joy - the light really is a bomb.

Another popular headlamp for fishing is the Fenix HM70R, which also features a red light. This comes in handy both to keep the headlamp from being constantly littered with insect company, which tends to be plentiful near water. But it is also useful, for example, when collecting roaches, which do not run away from the red light. Again, the separate main beam and wide reflector allow for exactly the lighting you need for individual actions.
