Universal four-channel Lii-500S charger and diagnostic station is designed for 3.7V/3.6V Li-Ion and NiMH/NiCd batteries. Compared to conventional Li-ion battery chargers, it can also measure their capacity when discharging. Each charging slot is monitored independently so that batteries of different sizes, capacities and even chemistries can be charged at the same time (Li-Ion and NiMH/NiCd can be charged simultaneously). It automatically detects the inserted battery type and selects the optimal charging algorithm.
There are three functions in total:
- Charge - classic charging, displays the capacity charged into the battery at the end. Four charging currents of 500, 700, 1000 and 2000 mA can be selected (the highest current can only be selected for 1-2 Li-ion batteries).
- Discharge - discharges the battery and displays the capacity measured during discharge at the end. The discharge current can be selected between 250 and 500 mA.
- Test - charges, discharges and recharges the battery. At the end, the capacity measured during discharge and during the final charge can be displayed. The charging current value can be selected in the same way as in Charge mode, the discharge current is always 500 mA.
To accurately measure the battery capacity, use the Test function (normal test). It must be taken into account that the Test is time consuming. A complete cycle with a 3500 mAh battery can take approximately 16 hours at the highest current setting. At the lowest current setting, it can take a full day.
The charger can charge cylindrical Li-ion batteries with a length of 31 to 73 millimeters and a diameter of up to 26 millimeters. For example, the types 26650, 22650, 25500, 18650, 17670, 18700, 14650, 18500, 18490, 18350, 17500, 14500, 16340, RCR123, 10440 and NiMH batteries in sizes AAA, AA, C can be charged.Due to their length, the 21700 batteries can only be charged in the version without protective electronics.
Lii-500S charger specifications
- Four independently monitored charging channels.
- Charging algorithm CC/CV for 3.7V/3.6V Li-Ion, Vmax for NiMH and NiCD.
- Four levels of charging current 500, 700, 1000 and 2000mA. 2000mA current can only be selected if there are a maximum of two Li-ion batteries in the charger.
- Two levels of discharge current 250 and 500 mA.
- Three programs:
- Charge - charges the battery
- Discharge - discharges the battery
- Test - first charges, then discharges and fully charges the battery again
- Discharge is terminated for NiMH batteries when the voltage reaches approx. 0.9 V, for Li-ion batteries the discharge is terminated when the voltage reaches approx. 2.8 V.
- The following Li-ion batteries from our range can be recharged in the charger: 18650 li-ion, 26650, 14500, RCR123.
- The charger can also recharge NiMH/NiCd batteries of size AA or AAA.
- Four independent charging channels, automatic recognition of the type of battery being charged.
- Supported battery sizes: AAA, AA, C, 10340, 10350, 10440, 10500, 12340, 12500, 12650, 13450, 13500, 13650, 14350, 14430, 14500, 14650, 16500, 16340(RCR123A), 16650, 17350, 17500, 17650, 17670, 18350, 18490, 18500, 18650, 18700, 22500, 22650, 25500, 26500, 26650. The 20700 and 21700 batteries will only fit in the version without protective electronics due to length.

- USB 1000 mA output (only when the charger is plugged into electricity).
- Efficient heat dissipation from charging electronics.
- Dimensions 165 x 100 x 36 millimeters.
- Includes charger and 100 - 240 VAC power adapter (12 VDC / 3 A output).
Using the Lii-500S charger
Plug the charger into the mains and insert the batteries to be charged. Within 8 seconds of inserting the battery, press the mode button to select the desired program (Charge, Discharge, Test), and use the current button to select the current within 8 seconds of inserting the battery. If you do not select any program within the time limit after inserting the battery, the charging will start automatically with a current of 500 mA. If you want to select a program for a specific slot, press the charging slot number first. Long press and hold the mode button to change the program already running in the selected slot. When the selected program is complete, END will appear on the display.
After the Test program is finished, pressing the charging slot number can toggle the display to show the measured capacity during discharge and during charge.
The charger has a power saving function and automatically turns off the display backlight after a few seconds. To permanently light the display, press the number of any slot for approximately 3 seconds.
