The Fenix 18650 3000 mAh (ARB-L18-3000P) high-current rechargeable batteries with protected electronics are designed for discharge current up to 14 A. Li-ion rechargeable batteries are characterized by very high capacity, do not suffer from memory effect or self-discharge. Li-ion in the 18650 size are the best choice in terms of stored energy due to the size and weight of the battery. These batteries are particularly suitable for the Fenix TK35 UE V2.0 LED flashlight.
The Fenix battery protection consists of internal safety mechanisms and protective electronics. Added electronic circuits prevent the cell from overcharging, over-discharging and against short circuit or over-current draw. If the battery electronics assess that the limits have been reached, they safely disconnect the cell.
Internal protection consists of a separator, state-of-the-art overheat protection (HRL - Heat Resistance Layer) and a special anti-blast valve. In the event that the gas pressure in the cell exceeds a certain limit, the internal separator separates the electrodes inside the battery and thus de-facto interrupts the exothermic reaction and the anti-blast valve releases the excess gas pressure outside the battery. The combination of electronic and mechanical (temperature and pressure) protection makes Fenix batteries among the safest Li-Ion batteries available.
The 18650 battery is roughly equivalent in size to two CR123A lithium batteries, which is why it is often used in flashlights as a rechargeable alternative to these primary cells. First check if your appliance supports this cell. The 18650 3000 mAh batteries are primarily designed for the Fenix LED flashlight TK35 UE V2. 0, but also for other Fenix LED flashlights - E28R, PD32 V2. 0, PD35, TK11 TAC, TK16, TK25 UV, TK25 Red, TK26R, TK75, FD41, LD30, SD11, SD20. Fenix LED headlamps HM60R, HM61R, HM65R, HM65R-T, lanterns CL26R, CL30R and the Fenix BC21R and BC30 bike lights.
Caution, due to length and diameter, may not fit some old models - for example Fenix PD31, TK11, TK21.
