Useing of the Fenix E-CP flashlight
To turn on/off the flashlight, press the side button for 0.5 seconds. With the lamp on, simply press the side button to change modes in a cycle : 3 - 30 - 150 - 350 - 1600 lumens. To switch to flash mode, hold the side button for approximately 1.2 seconds.
The control button can be locked, to prevent it from spontaneously switching on, e.g. when transporting in luggage - when the lamp is switched off, press the control button twice quickly (within a range of 0.5 seconds). To unlock, press the button again twice quickly.
Charge Status Indication - when the flashlight is off, simply press the side button to trigger the battery/power bank charge indicator hidden under the rubber cover next to the USB connectors.
Intelligent overheat protection- if the temperature of the flashlight exceeds 50 °C, an automatic power reduction will occur. As soon as the temperature drops below 50 °C, the highest power output can be used again.
Charging the battery/power bank - remove the rear connector cover and plug the included cable into the USB-C connector on the flashlight (USB-C female-to-female connector), plug the other end of the cable into a computer or a USB mains or car adapter (not included). During charging, the indicator LED lights red and turns green when fully charged. Replace the connector cover once the flashlight is charged. Charging a fully discharged battery takes approx. 2 hours using an 18W power supply or 3.5 hours using a 5V/2A power supply. The lamp can be used in 3, 30 and 150 lumens modes when charging, however, this will increase the charging time.
Powerbank function- turn off the flashlight and remove the rear connector cover. Plug the USB cable into one of the USB connectors (both the classic large USB-A connector and the USB-C connector work as output). When the device to be charged is connected, charging starts automatically, indicated by a four-part indicator next to the USB ports. When used as a power bank, it can also be simultaneously lit in 3, 30 and 150 lumens modes. When the process is complete, unplug the device being charged and replace the protective connector cap.
