The Fenix BC05R V2.0 rechargeable red flashlight delivers two power levels - 5 and 15 lumens. Both power levels feature fast blink, slow blink and constant light. Power is supplied by a built-in 400 mAh lithium polymer battery that charges via a USB-C connector directly in the flashlight. The light source is five red LEDs that are hidden under slightly convex optics that create a wide light cone visible at up to 180 degrees. The effective warning distance of the blinker is 50 metres, but the light is visible from up to 230 metres away. The weight of the flashlight is a negligible 28 grams. The package includes a clip, thanks to which the lamp can be attached to a backpack, clothing or a headlamp strap. It can therefore be used not only as a rear bike light, but also as a safety red light when running and hiking.
The design of the mount allows quick mounting and dismounting of the light on the bike without tools. The clamp fits a seat tube with a diameter of 20 to 35 millimeters. With 5 lumens of power in the fast flash mode, the light lasts up to 120 hours, the Fenix BC05R V2.0 will provide safe lighting for night training, regular commuting and endurance racing.
All flashlight parameters (lumen output, battery life, waterproofing and range) are measured in accordance with ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009.

Using the Fenix BC05R V2.0
To turn on or off, hold the button on the flashlight down for about 0.5 seconds. The power modes can be switched at any time during operation by shortly pressing the button (cycling through in the order of low 5 lm - slow flash 5 lm - fast flash 5 lm - high 15 lm - slow flash 15 lm - fast flash 15 lm).
Battery capacity indication - With the flashlight off, press the button once briefly, then the button backlight will illuminate for five seconds. A steady green glow indicates a battery charge of more than 85%, a green flash indicates a charge of approximately 50-85%, a steady red glow indicates a charge of approximately 25-50%, and a red flash indicates a nearly dead battery (less than 25%).
Discharged battery warning - if the battery capacity drops below approx. 25%, the flashlight will automatically switch to lower power modes to ensure the longest battery life (the flashlight cannot be switched to higher modes afterwards) and the button will flash red. In this case, we recommend charging the flashlight as soon as possible to prevent the protective electronics built into the batteries from shutting down and thus turning off the light when it runs out.
Charging
- Unplug the rubber cap of the USB-C connector on the back of the flashlight and use the included cable to plug it into a computer, powerbank, network USB adapter or USB car adapter. Alternatively, any mobile phone charger with a USB-C connector can be used for charging.
- Button glows red during charging, glows green when fully charged.
- Charging time is about 1.5 hours. The Li-pol battery used does not suffer from memory effect, so the flashlight can be recharged at any time.
- After charging and removing the power cord, be sure to seal the USB connector cap.
